Session 141

2026-11-02 · 2026-W45 ✓ reviewed

What happened

The learner laid out speech with a new line per speaker on her own passage, 5 of 5 breaks unaided, and replaced 'with enthusiasm' with a shown detail. Creative writing block 14:13-15:09; 'log it' at 15:15 with her two closing lines not written. Speech layout: taught on a tutor example, action-stays-with-speaker wrong first ('Why are you here?'), right after 'who is doing that action'; say-back 'ever time someone speaks use a new line' (no 'different', no action); guard item right, hint offered, not used; own passage 5/5 in about 2 min of 7 set. Harbour piece: page not to hand, so reread not run; last line typed 'The clouds wanded along the horizon.' Show-not-tell: her 21 Oct jumping sentence used as the example; 'shows us insted of telling us', 'enegetic', 'crying', then 'off' with a sentence starter; 'as his voice get a little bit higher' unaided. Final task (two-way speech, one detail) answered twice with plot, speech requirement dropped by the tutor at 14:50, one-sentence ask set for two minutes came back at 15:09 as a jail-cell passage with no detail of the tall one. 17 asks, 15 answered, 2 closing-line asks unanswered, 0 writing blanks. The 23 Oct closing lines were released after 'i can't rememder'.

Planned next

FIRST, finish what was cut on 2 Nov: her two closing lines for today, then fix 'you demand,' to a full stop and 'get' to 'gets' in her story passage. Then the stranger scene in the jail cell: add one thing the stranger does or carries, no feeling words, then two more lines of speech between 'you' and the stranger, each speaker on a new line, no hints, no example on screen. Then the harbour piece reread if the page is to hand. Spell recognise, excitedly and their cold. Reading plan from 23 Oct still stands for the next reading block: three quotations on a fresh passage, ten minutes stopped at ten, no steps named; spell fierce and weird cold.

Unfinished unfinished

Two closing lines not written at 'log it'. 'you demand,' and 'voice get' not fixed. Scene task not met: no detail of the character, two-way speech not written. Harbour five-minute reread not run, page not to hand.

What this session changed

TopicNameChangeEvidence recorded
T5.1Secure → Secure2 Nov speech layout, typed, her own passage: 5 of 5 new lines right with no hints, about 2 min of 7 set, including 'the little girl looks at the other one' kept with her speech. Before it: first answer on action placement wrong, right after a who-does-it prompt; guard item right. One applied item only; the second was not run.
W2.2Gap → Gap2 Nov: 'the tall one says as his voice get a little bit higher' replaced 'with enthusiasm', no feeling word, hint offered, not used, her jump sentence on screen. Second fresh unaided item set: one detail of the tall one in the room; her 15:09 passage held no action or object for him, the stranger only speaks. 1 of 2. No status change.
T5.2Gap → Gap2 Nov typed, about 110 words composed: rememder, ever (every), exitily, insted, enegetic, teliport, there (their), wanded, reconise; 'voice get' agreement slip. Each given with a memory aid in the reply. None retested cold. 'ok lets' left as in her passage.
T1.2Developing → Developing2 Nov: last line 'The clouds wanded along the horizon.' capital and full stop 1/1 after 'needs a doing word'. Unprompted passage at 15:09 opens lowercase ('after your vision clears'); 'you demand,' left with its comma after being told, typed and untimed.
W4.3Secure → Secure2 Nov: harbour piece given its planned last line, worked from a note of the ending with the page not to hand; 'wandered' a quiet clouds sentence after the wind. Supported and untimed; it does not return to the opening image of light through mist, so not a cyclical ending.
