The learner answered the three-quotation task with literal comments, then wrote word, suggestion and reader effect twice after one worked example. Exam-technique block, 11:01-11:39. Session 82's task (June 2017 paper, question 2 box, Rosabel on the bus), ten minutes, no step words: three quotations by 11:13, each comment restating the words; 0 of 3 beyond the literal, 0 of 3 with a reader effect, no method named. On the wet-feet sentence an abstract reader question and a sorry-or-fine either/or both gave non-answers. After one worked example on a different sentence she wrote all three parts with a starter ('horribly'), took a 1-minute break, then wrote all three on a self-chosen word with no starter ('meaningless'); an either/or sharpened what that word suggests (too worn out to care). Spellings after aids: meant 1/1, attitude 1/1; different correct unprompted. Her own rule for 'attitude' has how the writer feels, framed as grabbing a quote, topic missing; the missing part was told, not said back. 11 items, 11 answered, 0 blank, 0 skip. Slips left uncorrected by the tutor: througe, there for their, 'rosabel don't like', 'this suggest'. Closing lines written. Session 82's unfinished item closed. Topic updates (incl. R2 notstarted -> gap) and the lesson review follow in separate calls because the single call timed out four times.
FIRST, no notes, one per message: her own rule for what 'attitude' means (9 Oct: had 'how the writer feels', missing 'about the question's topic'); spell through (th + rough) and pick their/there in one sentence. THEN one quotation cold from a fresh short extract (not June 2017, not the night-ferry source): if the comment only restates the words, show one worked example on a different sentence, then hers in the same shape; then ask what her word adds that 'very' would not. Then three quotations, ten minutes, no model on screen. WRITING BLOCK: fairground story, mint / hide-or-stay branch - teach 'one character shown by one chosen detail' with a resource first, then one paragraph per exchange; starter: spell source, tracks, actually. TIMED HANDWRITTEN PIECE (about 20 Oct): description; four things on the plan before the timer; paragraph line as its own message, typed back; third check: the letter after each comma.
