Held
Maths had the strongest week: multiple secures confirmed with independent evidence — P8, P6-P7, P1 (drawn tree diagrams), N15, P4-P5 all developing→secure, plus A17 spaced-retested to exam-ready and N16/R1-R3 passed ageing checks. S2's June 'more than n' boundary misconception was taught and corrected across three separate contexts. CS: P08 and P02 both reached secure independently (Hours and minutes; Adding VAT). English Language: first timed Q5 piece produced real AO5/AO6 evidence — 0 blanks, cyclical ending, comma-splice self-correction, all unaided.
Slipped
Three promotions were reverted by audit this week for weak evidence — CS P17 (rested on a two-level jump) and P01 (evidence matched the wrong spec point), Lit K6.1 spelling and P1.01 Ozymandias-secure (needs a second unaided paragraph), Lang R2.1 connotation (no score recorded, skipped gap). Spanish lost both its blocks — Thu vocab review and Fri vocab+reading — and sits at 0.25 of 1.00 planned hours. Friday's maths deep-block/consolidate block and the Lit quotation retrieval were each met with a bare practice run instead of the shape the block asked for.
Next week
Next Tuesday's timed piece is the Lit essay (rotation: Lang Q5 → Lit essay → Maths section → CS program). Thursday's deep block falls to computer science in W38 (even ISO week). CS restarts by teaching P03 selection properly — it was only introduced Friday, prediction check unanswered, no task attempted. Spanish needs both missed blocks made up before starting Unit 1 Sets 2–3 vocabulary testing. English Literature's next paragraph should land one angle on the first attempt, not the second.

Written from the record at Fri 11 Sep 21:12 (3 missed · 0 excused). Since then: Fri 14:10 Code Lab: Hours and minutes, Pass or fail logged outside the timetable; Sat 00:00 S4 averages, taught from a list through frequency tables to grouped data. Starter 5/5 on the maths: shoe-size table total 24 and 12 above size 5 (boundary reading correct again), mean of a five-number list, 3(x+4) = 2(x−1) → x = −14 WITH the expansion line written out unprompted, and a reverse percentage 63 ÷ 0.7 = £90 on non-round numbers. Q1 asked for a drawn FREQUENCY tree; she drew a correct PROBABILITY tree instead — all counts right (50/40, 32/18, 29/11) and the answer 11 correct, but presented as fractions on branches rather than counts in boxes. The distinction was taught: probability tree branches sum to 1, frequency tree boxes sum to the count above them. Mean/median/mode/range from a list: 3/4, with the median-of-six halfway step handled correctly; only slip was rounding 34/6 to 5.7 unasked — do not round unless told. Mean from a frequency table taught with the size × frequency row; goals table 3/3 including the modal-value-not-frequency trap. Median from a frequency table taught by counting positions; pets table 3/3 including the 13th-position median and the range taken from values not frequencies. Estimated mean from grouped data taught with midpoints; she gave all four midpoints correctly, then produced 2.67 cm for the mean of plants between 0 and 40 cm — a division error, and no sense-check applied. Session ended there; the median group was never reached. logged outside the timetable; Sun 17:35 Set 1 Family repeat 8/10 + Set 2 Describing people intro (5 adj, 2 correct sentences incl. agreement). Extra slot. Next: marido, familiar first; then more Set 2. logged outside the timetable.
