Held
Untimed repair held after Wednesday's paper: maths bracket expansion right 3/3 alone and inside an inequality, squares 3/3 cold; CS why-hex 2/2 cold for the first time (1/2 on 6, 13 and 15 Oct), a binary sum by hand right, a trace table laid out from headings alone; Lit London first line cold and clean, K3.1 gap to developing on two unaided items; Spanish possessives gap to developing. Established this week: CS and Lang 'accuracy drops in production, not recall'; CS 'answers half of a two-part instruction'.
Slipped
Under the clock the repairs did not show. Wednesday's paper skipped the 8-mark Ozymandias paragraph and the 5-mark Python program with 15 minutes unused on each, maths Q6 (4 marks) got one restating sentence, and nothing was quoted from the poem in Lit. Tuesday's timed Lang piece drifted into events, off the prompt, Level 2 and below 6 Oct. Unaided Lang quotations again gave events, no word, no effect. Missed: Mon CS Python, Wed Spanish vocab. Two retrieval blocks ran short; three blocks closed with no topic update.
Next week
Next Tuesday's timed piece is the Lit essay (rotation: Lang Q5 ran this week). Thursday's deep block falls to maths (odd ISO week 43). Start by putting a first line on every extended question in timed work, since skipping with time unused is the loss the paper showed. Make up the lost CS Python block and the Spanish -ar endings teach (G21), owed since 9 Oct.
