English Language — The learner's timed handwritten station description held as description for the first time and scored 20/40, but was declared finished at 11 of 35 minutes in one unparagraphed block of about 67 words. Ran against the Tuesday timed handwritten block, 13:03-14:06 (attempt 14). Structure word asked before the timer: 'cyclical', first reply. Plan on paper 13:06-13:12: five lines; the structure line holds a place again with 'cyclical' written above it; the 'four things' line holds two; the two extra lines she was asked to copy (new paragraph every time the camera moves; no events) are not on the plan in the photo, so the read-aloud of the paragraph line had nothing to read. Writing 13:12-13:47: 'finished' at 13:23; two one-paragraph instructions from the tutor produced 43 and 23 more words by 13:44 (about 133 in all). Check 13:44-13:49: two named targets in two messages, each answered with its own number (0 and 0, both verified); the unnamed third question was answered 'no' inside a minute, with two capital 'You' after a fronted clause, five past-tense verbs and six spelling slips unreported. First photo unreadable; retaken as two photos within 6 minutes. Marked the same sitting: ideas and shaping 12/24 (L2 upper), accuracy 8/16 (L2 top); previous three pieces 21/40. Three spellings given with aids (source, tracks, actually), not typed back. 0 blank. Her two closing lines were written. No status changes; W1.5 proposed developing for adjudication.
Spanish — Maintenance slot 15:05-15:30 (25 min) in the Tuesday 15:00 block. Opened on the sentence left unfinished on 5 Oct. Asked to put 'My aunt' in front of her 'se llama Ana': 'mi tia se llama ana' at first go - every word and the order right, mi (was me on 5 Oct), se kept, no es; accent and capitals missing. Told only that one fix was capitals and one a missing mark: she located the accent ('on the i in tia', not typed), then retyped 'Mi tia se llama Ana' with both capitals. Read-aloud set (twice) with a check question: the ll in llama sounds like 'y' - right; she did not separately say she had read it aloud. Second sentence, unaided, 'My friends criticise my brother': first reply 'i don't know' after 4 minutes. Narrowed to 'my friends': 'Mis amigos' right at once, plural mis unprompted. Verb, with the cue that who does it decides the ending: 'Mis amigos criticesar' - verb misspelt and left unconjugated. Time up at 15:30 by the clock; offered five more minutes or a log, she said log it. 3 tasks set, 3 attempted, 0 blank at close, 1 initial 'i don't know' answered once narrowed. Practice run 72 counts 5 elements: 3 right first go, 1 right after a hint, 1 not got. Not run: finishing the criticise sentence ('my brother', personal a), the 8-word recall round, entenderse in a sentence, the second hinted reflexive item. Session 75's sentence is done; its other items are carried into this session's unfinished.

Spanish — Maintenance slot in the Wednesday 09:45 block, opened 09:46 on the sentence left unfinished on 6 Oct. Hint that criticesar had an extra chunk (critic- plus a two-letter ending): she wrote 'Mis amigos critican' - spelling fixed and they-ending added unprompted, untaught. Personal a taught with one teaching question ('Ana visita a Luis'): 'a', right at once. Whole sentence with the cue that a person is being criticised: 'Mis amigos critican a mi hermano', every word right. In-block replies at about 09:52 and 09:54; the full sentence arrived at 14:11, after the block - not known whether she was away or working. Closed there: timed paper at 14:30. Read-aloud set, not confirmed. 4 elements, 4 attempted, 0 blank, no 'I don't know'. Practice run 76: 3 first go, 1 after a hint, 0 not got. Session 80's sentence done; its other items carried into this session's unfinished.

Spanish — Maintenance slot in the Friday 13:45 block, 13:50-14:15 (25 min by the clock), opened on session 89's unfinished work and finished all of it. Recall round, second half, one word per message, mixed directions: 'to get on with someone' -> 'entenderse' cold with -se and no hint (not recalled 8 Oct); 'discutir' -> 'to discuss' (argue added); 'to look like' -> 'parecerse', a missing, supplied in the gap 'Me parezco a mi madre' typed whole; 'el familiar' -> 'relitive' (meaning right); 'to be called' -> 'llamarse'. 5 asked: 4 right first go, 1 after a nudge. Then personal a: hinted 'visito a mi tía' right, accent on tía typed; two unaided, no cue: 'mi madre ayuda a mi tía' and 'mis hermanos visitan a mi madre', both fully right, verb endings hers. Read-aloud of the last sentence confirmed said twice, with the sound question answered (h in hermanos silent). Last, hinted with the frame 'me entiendo con': 'Me entiendo con mi tía' right first go. 10 items set, 10 attempted, 0 blank, no 'I don't know': 9 right first go, 1 after a hint. Replies took 1-5 minutes, most 1-3: faster than 8 Oct. Capitals and full stops missing on 3 of 4 sentences, once after being asked for. Not run: pelearse/criticar next-day check, two unaided reflexive sentences, any reading (block is named vocab + short reading). No new content taught. She said 'log it' at 14:15 after the proposed updates were shown. Practice run 81 logged alongside. Topic updates (T01, G37, G21, G25, G06, P05) follow in separate calls because the single call returned Bad Gateway twice.

Mathematics — Solving linear inequalities was opened: three worked examples and two guided items solved with valid lines and no hints used. The four unaided items were not run: she asked to stop at 18:08, at the break before them. Ran 16:54-18:08 on a Saturday with no timetable block (extra), non-calc, typed, one item per message, chunks to 17:15, 17:42 and 18:07 with 2-minute breaks between. Cold warm-up 3 of 3 right first time: multiplier for a 15 percent increase (1.15) and a 30 percent decrease (0.7), then 9 - 2(x - 4) = 3x + 2 in five valid lines, x = 3, 7 min. Inequalities, each beside its solved equation: 3x + 2 less than 14 (first line miscopied with the 2 missing, lines 2 and 3 right), 5x - 3 at least 2x + 9 in four valid lines, 2x + 1 less than 5x - 8 ending 3 less than x, then x greater than 3 chosen from two. Checks: numbers fitting x less than 4 and x at least 4 sorted correctly. Is 4 allowed: yes, with the reason only after a narrowed re-ask. The open say-back gave [the numders], then [diffeerent] to same steps or different. x at least 4 was put as [four or less] until she sorted numbers, then [four or more]. Guided, hints offered and not used: 6x - 5 greater than 2x + 7 gave x greater than 3 (4 lines, 11 min). 3x + 10 at most 7x - 2 gave 3 at most x, then x at least 3 with the sign typed as equals-then-arrow, then [x is 3 or greater] (12 min). 19 answers asked for, 19 given, 0 blank: 12 right first time, 3 part right, 1 right on re-ask, 3 not right. Not run: the four unaided inequalities, mixed practice, a two-step angle item, number lines, the error-interval link, negative coefficients. Session 90 unfinished item (topic not opened) is closed. Signs are in words because saves returned Bad Gateway on text with quote marks and inequality symbols. Topic updates (A22, A17, N11-N12) and the review were saved in separate calls.

Missed

Nothing was missed this week.

Done, but short

Done, but not the shape the block asked for

A missed block means nothing was logged against it, which is sometimes a logging failure rather than a missed morning. Movement and the review block are never listed here: they are ticked or they are not, and not ticking one costs nothing. A block marked by hand is Dad's word that it happened, counted apart from the blocks the record proves. An extra never offsets a miss; it is counted beside it.

Decisions for Dad

Decided in the review chat, never here. This page has no button that changes the record — tracker_excuse_block and tracker_decide_day_off are Dad's, in chat.

In the margin — the week's review

Written, not computed

One note per week, append-only. Version 1 of 1, written by the Friday routine on Friday 9 October at 21:05.

Held

Every study block has work logged against it. The Tuesday timed description held one place and one time with no plot events for the first time in four timed pieces (Lang W1.5, proposed developing, awaiting adjudication). Maths cleared the backlog owed since 6 Oct, with estimated mean and recurring-decimal show-that right cold. The CS end-check loop was handwritten unaided with correct logic. Spanish personal a and -ar present tense were produced unaided on fresh verbs two days after teaching, moving both to developing.

Slipped

Wednesday's timed paper: a 2-mark estimate held 18 minutes for no marks, five answers were typed 'skip', the 8-mark language question got no time, and the quotation warm-up set for that slot was not run. Maths A17 (minus-bracket collecting line) and N11-N12 (percentage multiplier) were demoted on cold misses. Tuesday's piece was called finished early in one unparagraphed block. Warm-ups and Wednesday's reading block ran short; several sessions logged no topic update. Maths inequalities still unopened since 5 Oct. 'Skip' for a first line is on two papers: worth a term-planner look at Wednesday.

Next week

Monday opens maths with a fresh minus-bracket equation cold, then inequalities. Thursday's deep block falls to computer science (even week). Tuesday's timed piece is the Lit essay, next after Lang Q5. Wednesday: run the quotation warm-up before the paper starts, and ask for a first line on every question instead of 'skip'. Lang: a fresh extract with no model shown for the word, suggests, reader effect chain.
